ANIMAL Emergency Preparedness Go-Bag Workshop

Jamie Shaw, Elmore Road, Worcester

When: Oct 18, 2025, 1:30 – 2:30  PM

Where: Worcester, VT

Hello Worcester,

ANIMAL Emergency Preparedness Go-Bag Workshop – October 18, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Located at the Worcester Town Hall

Have you ever thought of preparing an emergency bag for your pet? No one wants to leave them home. Worcester is planning for you and your pet to have a safe place to stay in case of an emergency. But you must have the supplies necessary to care for your pet.

This workshop will cover what you need to leave your home ASAP with the supplies your animal needs. The Town is providing a place for many pets but YOU must have the items needed for their care.

An animal emergency preparedness kit is a collection of supplies, documents, and information to help you and your pet get through an emergency. A go-bag is a simplified emergency kit that you can take with you if you need to evacuate your home. I will bring an Animal Go Bag so you can see how easy it is to make one and easily store it.

Join with others to learn more about animal emergency preparedness kits at a workshop Saturday, October 18, at 1:30 – 2:30  PM at the Worcester Town Hall. Sponsored by the Worcester Preparedness Committee. Community preparedness begins with individual preparedness.

All attendees will have the chance (by raffle) of winning a Go Bag that I am donating!
I hope to see you there.
This workshop is for humans only!
Thank you.
