DESCRIPTION:Emergency Preparedness Kit Workshop\nOctober 11\,2025\n4 pm – 5 pm\nWorcester Town Hall \nIn an emergency\, what things would you wish you had? An emergency preparedness kit is a collection of supplies\, documents\, and information to help you and your family get through an emergency. A go-bag is a simplified emergency kit that you can take with you if you need to evacuate your home. \nJoin with others to learn more about emergency preparedness kits at this workshop Saturday\, October 11\, at 4:00 – 5:00 PM at the Worcester Town Hall.  Sponsored by the Medical Reserve Corps and the Worcester Preparedness Committee\, this event is part of a larger effort to get more prepared as a community. Community preparedness begins with individual preparedness. Participants in this workshop will begin putting together their own go-bags and will be provided some limited supplies to do so. \nThere will be a raffle with donations from several of our wonderful local merchants! \n* Gift Certificate worth 50.00$ from Hunger Mountain Co-Op\n* Bear Pond Books in Montpelier\n* Josh Seidman’s local wood fired maple syrup
